Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camps
Cork continues to lead the way in terms of Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camps participation. Such has been the success of the 2015 Programme that Cork has an anticipated 25% increase in numbers. This means a projected figure of 13,000 children in camps by the end of August! This is a massive achievement for the 110 host venues around the county.
Cork GPO Noel Crowley is our County Coordinator and he deserves enormous credit for ensuring the success of the camps. One of the highlights of the week for children is the county player visit and we are lucky to have some wonderful ambassadors with us this year in Conor Lehane, Bill Cooper, Cormac Murphy, Paul Kerrigan, Alan Cadogan, Brian O Driscoll and more. Many clubs use the camps to recruit new players with the main emphasis on fun rather than total skill development. With a further 4 weeks of camps in August, there is still time for children to sign up for camps and enjoy an unforgettable week of gaelic games.
Rebel Og Coaching wishes to thank the coordinators at each host venue who put in huge work to ensure the camps run so well.
