Fé15 Inter Regional Football Finals

On Sunday 10th Feb 2019 our U15 Inter Regional Football Finals took place in the 4G pitch in Pairc Ui Chaoimh at 2.00pm referee Colm Vaughan threw in the ball for thePlate final between Cork City East and Cork North. This was a good game and in the first half both sides were evenly matched with the score at 1-5 apiece. The second half saw Cork North with the wind behind them pull away to come out winner in the end. Cork Games Manager Kevin O Callaghan presented the plate to the winning team after the game. Well done to both sets of mentors and players.

At 3.30 pm our second game got underway with teams from Cork West and Cork Mid contesting the Shield for this game. This was a very competitive game with it going down to the last minute of play were Cork West with the last point of the game came out ahead by the single point to win over Cork Mid.

Well done to both sets of players and once the game had concluded Coaching Officer Ronan Dwayne presented the Shield to the winning captain from Cork West.

Over all it was a great days football and well done to the 4 finalists who took part the players and mentors who all put in a lot of work and the the parents and supporters who were their on the day.
