Cork Clubs Draw Launch 2016/2017

CorkGAAClubDraw-Logo1The Official Launch of the Annual Cork GAA Clubs Draw by Uachtarán CLCG Aogán Ó Fearghail, took place in the Bishopstown GAA Pavilion on Wed 7th at 8:30pm sharp.

A large crowd were in attendance at the Cork GAA Clubs Draw launch now entering its 25th Year in which club officials, mentors, sellers and draw coordinators gathered in the resplendent Bishopstown GAA club with members of the County Board,the Cork Clubs Draw committee and staff where they were  shown the new online registration system to help coordinators manage their club draw ticket information each month.

On the evening the Cork GAA Clubs Draw also announced that Corks radio stations C103 & 96FM are now our official Media Partners going forward which means each month the draw results will be broadcast by C103 and 96Fm who will be attending the draws each month.

The Cork GAA Clubs Draw is a risk free fundraising promotion available to clubs across the county.

Tickets cost €100 per annum with a guaranteed 45% contribution to the draw members club rising to 58% on agreed target achievement.

Since its inception in 1992 communities have benefited by more than €19 million in funding their local club developments.

The Draw has three aims –

• Investment in games development and coaching

• Risk free funding for clubs

• Capital projects support
